-Treasurer’s Report: $1,316.93

-Old Business:

-Brattonsville is the last weekend in October.  We have a fair number planning to attend.  Carpooling plans and a location to meet will be decided by Chuck and he will let the unit know.  Leo Lozano, Rick and Garreth Bell, and Steve Bush additionally plan to attend.

-Julia Barnes has done great work with our newsletter and website, but, with other commitments, she feels she cannot devote the adequate amount of time to the position.  No volunteers for the position so far, but President Yeager and Secretary / Treasurer Heatherly will continue to search.

-We also need an official quartermaster sergeant.  We will be searching for a suitable applicant over the next few weeks.

-New Business:

-Steve Bush has decided to re-enlist with the Butler Guards, and plans to attend Brattonsville.  We would like to welcome Steve, as we are very excited to have him with us again.

-President Yeager passed out a schedule of 2007 – 2008 events.  The Butlers looked over them, and made a few unofficial decisions.  We decided it not best to return to Broxton Bridge, and perhaps attend The Columns.  Also, it appears the Butlers will try to attend Anderson 2008, being under new coordinators and being a close event.  We will officially vote at our November meeting.
