Old Business:

Ø   Tom Fowler gave a report of the Sharpsburg event.  He noted that it was an outstanding event, and that all of the Butlers in attendance were able to complete the march.  He noted that the Battlion is considering attending the Gettysburg event in June 2008.

Ø   Ft. McAlister event first weekend in December is no longer being considered due to lack of response from the event organizers.

Ø   Abbeville event on Dec. 1 weekend – Butlers have been asked to perform a lantern tour, and this is being considered.  Also, our friend Dennis Crocker is being married on the steps of the Burke-Stark house that weekend, and the Butlers are invited to attend in period attire!

Ø   President Yeager asked for a volunteer for the position of Quartermaster.

Ø   Fairview – Many volunteers will be needed to make this event successful.
